Princess Margriet of the Netherlands was briefly hospitalised.
She was hospitalised on Thursday, where she was diagnosed with an acute back hernia. She has since returned home, where she will continue her recovery.
Her planned attendance at the opening of the European Para Championships has been cancelled.
Princess Margriet is the aunt of the current King of the Netherlands, Willem-Alexander.
