Princess Ariane of the Netherlands is set to finish her high school diploma in Italy.
Princess Ariane, the third and youngest daughter of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands, will attend the United World College Adriatic in Italy. At the end, she will receive the International Baccalaureate. The school has around 180 students from all over the world.
She is currently attending the Christelijk Gymnasium Sorghvliet in The Hague. Her elder sister, the Princess of Orange, graduated from the same school and is currently attending the University of Amsterdam, where she studies Politics, Psychology, Law and Economics. Unfortunately, she is unable to live in Amsterdam due to threats to her security. Ariane’s other sister Alexia also attends a United World College, although she is at the United World College Atlantic in Wales.
The Government Information Service has emphasised that the Princesses’ school years are considered to be private and asks all media to respect that.
