Princess Rajwa of Jordan has given birth to her first child with Crown Prince Hussein.

Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa are the proud parents of a baby girl. The child now holds the title of Princess of Jordan.

The royal baby’s name is Iman.

Princess Rajwa gave birth at the King Hussein Medical Center in Amman.

The Royal Hashemite Court said: “Their Royal Highnesses are immensely overjoyed and thankful on welcoming their firstborn, and call on well-wishers to consider donating to Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans in lieu of sending gifts or flowers.”

The Princess is not in the line of succession, as Jordan does not allow women to reign in their own right.

The royal baby is the first grandchild of King Abdullah and Queen Rania.

The Royal Hashemite Court announced that Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa were expecting their first child, due in the summer, in April 2024. The pair celebrated their first wedding anniversary on 1 June this year.
