Princess Anisha of Brunei turns 30

Princess Anisha of Brunei is celebrating her 30th birthday today.

Anisha Rosnah binti Adam was born in London on 6 November 1994 to Croatian Ivica Adam Kalebic and Bruneian Malay Siti Mariam Isa. Her grandfather, Isa bin Haji Ibrahim, is the Sultan’s special advisor.

Anisha has three full siblings and they all attended Jerudong International School in Brunei. She studied at the University of Bath in England and Complutense University in Spain. Anisha also has four half-siblings from her father.

She grew up alongside her future husband, Prince Abdul Mateen, due to her grandfather’s role in the monarchy. Her brother, Danial, is also known to be close with the prince.

The future royal is a successful businesswoman who owns the fashion label Silk Collective and co-founded the travel agency Authentirary. She enjoys cooking and used to share recipes and cooking videos on her personal Instagram.

The Prince and Anisha began dating around 2018 but not much is known about their dating relationship. She did begin appearing in public with him at events in 2022 and their engagement was announced in October 2023.

Wedding festivities began on 7 January 2024 and lasted ten days. The Islamic solemnisation of their marriage took place on 11 January.

Prince Mateen is the fourth son of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah and appears alongside his father at numerous international and local events.

Since their marriage, Princess Anisha has begun undertaking some royal duties and travels with her husband abroad for various events. She has since become a royal fashionista with many following what she wears.
