King Abdullah attends Jordan-United Kingdom Business Forum

King Abdullah II of Jordan attended the opening session of the Jordan-United Kingdom Business Forum in London.

The forum brought together representatives from several sectors and business leaders from both countries. It aims to explore opportunities to expand cooperation across various sectors and to highlight investment opportunities in Jordan.

The Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply, Yarub Qudah, addressed the opening session and positioned Jordan as a reliable investment destination as he highlighted the steady growth of Jordan’s economy and its resilience despite the challenges in the region.

The Minister of Investment, Tareq Abu Ghazaleh, then showcased Jordan’s favourable business environment by highlighting several zones where cumulative investments had already reached 9.1 billion dollars. He highlighted the opportunities across sectors such as infrastructure and sustainable energy.

The opening session was also attended by the Director of the Office of His Majesty, Alaa Batayneh, Jordan’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Manar Dabbas, and representatives of Jordanian and British companies operating in a variety of sectors.
