His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein, in his capacity as regent, attended the investiture ceremony marking Army Day and the anniversary of the Great Arab Revolt.
The Crown Prince was received at the Martyr’s Memorial by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Maj. Gen. Yousef Hneiti. He laid a wreath at the Unknown Soldier Monument. Crown Prince Al Hussein then viewed exhibits from the Battle of Ammunition Hill, and he signed the guest book before paying tribute to the professionalism of JAF and security agencies’ personnel.
Crown Prince Al Hussein presented medals to several JAF personnel for their distinguished service and dedication.
Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II, Prince Rashid bin El Hassan, Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh, General Intelligence Department Director Maj. Gen. Ahmad Husni and Public Security Directorate Director Maj. Gen. Obeidallah Maaytah also attended the ceremony.
