Royal members of the International Paralympic Committee

With the 2024 Summer Paralympics soon to begin, we take a look at the royal members of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC).

The IPC consists of National Paralympic Committees, International Federations, Regional Organisations and International Organisations of Sport for the Disabled. At the beginning of 2024, the IPC had 208 member organisations. The headquarters are located in Bonn, Germany.

The royal members can be found on the honorary board.

  1. Princess Margriet of the Netherlands
  2. Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg
  3. Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden
  4. Albert II, Prince of Monaco
  5. Princes Haya of Jordan
  6. Princess Astrid of Belgium

The members of the honorary board use their high profile to promote the goals of the Paralympics.
