Ukrainian President Zelenskyy welcomed to Norwegian Royal Palace

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was welcomed to the Royal Palace in Oslo by Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit.

The Crown Prince, who is currently acting as Regent, welcomed Zelenskyy on 20 March.

Crown Princess Mette-Marit joined her husband for the audience in the Arcade Room before Zelenskyy travelled to the Storting (Norwegian parliament) to speak to the Speaker of the Storting, Masud Gharahkhani.

King Harald welcomed the leader of Ukraine to Norway in 2023.

The President has also held meetings with Norway’s Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, Minister of Finance Jens Stoltenberg, Minister of Foreign Affairs Espen Barth Eide, and Minister of Defence Tore O. Sandvik.
