The Swedish royals have marked Veterans’ Day.

King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden and his son, Prince Carl Philip, attended the Armed Forces’ national veterans ceremony at the Royal Djurgården in Stockholm. The ceremony, which took place at the Maritime History Museum, was attended by a large group of veterans. The Speaker of the Riksdag, the Prime Minister, the Minister of Defense, and the Commander-in-Chief were also present. King Carl XVI Gustaf laid a wreath and awarded several medals.

Later that day, Crown Princess Victoria attended a ceremony in Gothenburg. This began with a fly-over, and the Crown Princess laid a wreath. After the ceremony, Crown Princess Victoria met with representatives from the Coast Guard and the Port of Gothenburg.
