Queen Sofía admitted to hospital

Queen Sofía of Spain has been hospitalised.

She was admitted to the Ruber clinic for a urinary tract infection. Although the prognosis is good, she will remain admitted for observation.

Her planned engagement to Huesca on Friday has been cancelled.
