The Royal Mail has revealed four new stamps that will be issued to mark the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
The stamps will illustrate the ceremony and the street party and will also highlight some of the causes the King has dedicated his life to, such as cultural diversity, community, sustainability and biodiversity.
They were designed by Atelier Works and feature work by British artist Andrew Davidson.
The stamps will also feature in The King’s Stamp exhibition at the Postal Museum from today.
Simon Thompson, Chief Executive of Royal Mail, said, “Royal Mail is proud to issue this set of commemorative stamps which celebrate the Coronation and some of the causes which His Majesty has championed throughout his many years of public service. This is only the third time we have issued Coronation stamps, and I am delighted that they mark the start of a new reign and a new chapter in our history.”
The stamps will go on general sale on 6 May 2023.
