The Princess of Asturias has announced her further education plans as she completed her second solo flight in a Pilatus PC-21.

The Princess is currently undergoing training as a second lieutenant in the Air Force and Space at the General Air and Space Academy (AGA) in San Javier (Murcia). She completed her first solo flight last December. Her training included pre-flight preparation, operational briefings, aircraft maintenance, training flights, and flight simulator training.

As she completes her military career, the Princess of Asturias will pursue a degree in Political Science at the Carlos III University of Madrid. The program is offered at the Getafe campus and will include subjects such as Political Science, Humanities, Law, Economics, Sociology, History, and International Relations.
The Princess will combine her studies with her commitments as heir to the throne.
