Princess Märtha Louise of Norway has announced her wedding date.
Princess Märtha Louise and Durek Verrett announced today that they will marry in August 2024. Her parents and her brother and sister-in-law have extended their congratulations.
The King and Queen said, “The Queen and I are delighted that Princess Märtha Louise and Durek Verrett have announced their wedding plans today. We are happy to include Durek Verret in our family and look forward to celebrating the big day with them. We wish Märtha and Durek all the best.”
Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit said, “We congratulate Princess Märtha and Durek Verrett on their wedding in August next year. We are happy for them and look forward to celebrating with them in Geiranger. We wish Märtha, Durek and the girls all the best for the future.”
Princess Märtha Louise was previously married to Ari Behn. They had three daughters together before divorcing in 2017. He died in 2019. Durek Verrett was previously married to Zaneta Marzalkova, but they divorced in 2009.
