Princess Ariane of the Netherlands has officially graduated from the United World College Adriatic in Italy.

The Princess received her International Baccalaureate diploma and, therefore, graduated from high school.

Following Dutch tradition, the royal hoisted her backpack on her home’s flag pole to indicate she had graduated.

A video showing Ariane placing her backpack on the flag pole was shared on the Dutch Royal House’s Instagram. They wrote, “The flag can be raised at Huis ten Bosch Palace!”

Princess Ariane attended the Christian Gymnasium Sorghvliet in The Hague for the first four years of high school before completing her compulsory education at the international school in Italy.

Ariane’s future plans have not yet been released.
