Princess Ariane of the Netherlands has been appointed by her father, King Willem-Alexander, as Knight Grand Cross in the Order of the Netherlands Lion and as Knight in the House Order of the Golden Lion.
The appointments are made on the occasion of her 18th birthday. She will also be allowed to use her flag. This is the same flag as the one used by her elder sisters, which was established by Royal Decree in 2021.

The distinctive flags of members of the Royal House are divided into four areas (quarters) by a four-armed cross with the National Coat of Arms in the middle, which is also the Royal Coat of Arms. The flag is orange in colour with a Nassau blue cross in the middle with the National Coat of Arms on it. The flag is incised. The coat of arms of the House of Orange, a blue hunting horn with a red opening, mouth and cord and white fittings, is in the upper left area. A red castle with a door, two windows, and three battlements from the Zorreguieta coat of arms is in the lower left area.
