As Princess Amalia turns ten, we look at her young life so far.

Princess Amalia Gabriela Maria Teresa was born on 15 June 2014 at the Grand Duchess Charlotte Maternity Hospital in Luxembourg.

She is the first child of Prince Felix and Princess Claire of Luxembourg. She has two younger brothers, Prince Liam (b. 2016) and Prince Balthazar (b. 2024).

Amalia was christened on 12 July 2014 with her godparents being named as her paternal aunt, Princess Alexandra and maternal uncle, Felix Lademacher.

The Princess appears at the occasional royal event, including baptisms, weddings and children-centred events.

As she is not in the direct line of succession, she is not a Princess of Luxembourg but instead a Princess of Nassau.

Amalia is fifth in the line of succession to succeed her grandfather, Grand Duke Henri. At the time of her birth, she was third, and until the birth of her cousin, Prince Charles, was a future Grand Duchess of Luxembourg.

She lives in Frankfurt/Main, Germany, with her family.
