Now that she has completed her training, the Princess will wear a military uniform while working with the Ministry of Defence, where she is studying as a student assistant.

Proud mother Queen Máxima was seen filming her eldest daughter as she graduated from the program before giving her a large hug.

King Willem-Alexander appointed his daughter to the reserve armed forces in September 2025. She is not paid for her duties with the reserves.

The Princess of Orange began her military training at Defensity College last autumn. She is also studying Dutch Law at the University of Amsterdam.

Princess Amalia’s military training and university studies are all in preparation for her future role as Queen of the Netherlands.
