Hans-Adam II, Prince of Liechtenstein was presented with a special stamp during a reception in his honour to mark his 80th birthday.
The reception took place at Vaduz Castle. Philatelie Liechtenstein presented the stamp, “symbolising the sovereign’s life’s work and long-standing commitment to the well-being of the principality and its citizens.”
The President of the State Parliament, Albert Frick, and Deputy Prime Minister, Sabine Monauni, conveyed the best wishes and blessings of the government and the people of Liechtenstein.
Other guests included members of the government and the state parliament and their deputies, the court presidents and senate chairmen, the heads of the municipalities, the apostolic administrator for the Archdiocese of Vaduz, the pastor of Vaduz and the presidents of the parties represented in the state parliament.
