King Harald meets Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney at Holmenkollen Ski Festival

King Harald of Norway met Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney at the Holmenkollen Ski Festival.

King Harald, Queen Sonja and Crown Prince Haakon watched the competition at the Holmenkollen Ski Festival on Saturday from the Royal Stand, when they were visited by Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre. Prime Minister Mark Carney is on an official visit to Norway in connection with the NATO exercise Cold Response.

Crown Prince Haakon will be participating in the NATO exercise next week.

At the Holmenkollen Ski Festival, the women’s 50 kilometres was won by the Swede Frida Karlsson and the men’s distance was won by the Norwegian Einar Hedegar.

The two winners also visited the Royal Stand and took a selfie with the royal group.
