King Felipe presides over 375th anniversary of creation of “Farnese” Cavalry Regiment

King Felipe VI of Spain presided over the celebration of the 375th anniversary of the creation of the “Farnese” Cavalry Regiment No. 12, the oldest Regiment of the Spanish Cavalry.

He was accompanied by the president of the Junta de Castilla y León, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco; the Minister of Defense, Margarita Robles; the mayor of Valladolid, Jesús Julio Carnero; and the chief of the Army Staff, Amador Enseñat y Berea.

The King reviewed the troops and a tribute was paid to those who gave their lives for Spain. The day ended with a military parade.
