King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain have travelled to Tenerife to visit the area affected by forest fires.
The forest fires broke out in August and affected twelve municipalities. The royal couple was informed, via panels, of the scope of the fires by the technician of the Territorial, Forestry and Fire Management Service of the Cabildo of Tenerife and the head of the Civil Protection and Emergency Response Service of the Government of the Canary Islands.
They then travelled to Arafo, where the fire started, where a meeting with representatives was held. They also paid tribute to everyone who helped in the fight against the disaster.
