King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands have concluded their state visit to South Africa.
During their three-day visit to the country, they visited Pretoria, Johannesburg and Cape Town. The state visit focussed on good relations and equal partnership between the two countries, with particular attention to sustainable and inclusive growth, cultural cooperation and knowledge exchange.
After the visit, the couple posted on social media, “Without forgetting the past, we are here to embrace new opportunities in our cooperation with you. We are very glad to have made a state visit to your magnificent country.”
