Swedish royals host Emir of Qatar

The King and Queen of Sweden have welcomed the Emir of Qatar while he is on an official visit to Sweden.

King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia hosted a lunch for the Emir at the Royal Palace.

During the Emir’s official visit, discussions will be held regarding bilateral relations between Qatar and Sweden. The main focus is trade relations, transportation, green initiatives, and health care.

On 2 September, Crown Princess Victoria attended a dinner hosted by the Prime Minister for the Emir at Sager House.

Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani is currently visiting the Nordic countries.
