Alois, the Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein, has awarded the Grand Cross of the Princely Liechtenstein Order of Merit to Magnus Brunner, Federal Minister of Finance of the Republic of Austria.
He did so on behalf of his father, Prince Hans-Adam II. Magnus Brunner received the award in a ceremony at Vaduz Castle.
According to the official website, Magnus Brunner “has made a valuable contribution to the relationship between the two countries in his role as Federal Minister of Finance of the Republic of Austria. In this role, it was always important to him to maintain an exchange with Liechtenstein and to sustainably deepen relations in the financial sector. The close contact with the Principality of Liechtenstein remained even in times of economic challenges and continues to this day.”
Princess Maria Pia, who is the ambassador of Liechtenstein to Austria, Eva Brunner, Prime Minister Daniel Risch, and the Hereditary Princess were also present.
