The second day of the state visit from Luxembourg to Belgium consisted of several engagements.

Queen Mathilde and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa visited the Centre for Fine Arts in Brussels, to see the Histoire de ne pas rire – Het surrealisme in België exhibition. It was Queen Mathilde’s second visit to the exhibition.

King Philippe and Grand Duke Henri headed in another direction and officially opened the economic forum.

The couples rejoined later in the morning and visited the North Sea Port and Cathedral in Ghent together.

In the evening, the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess offered a reception and a concert by the Lëtzbuerger Philharmoniker. This was also attended by Prince Laurent of Belgium.
