Alois, the Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein, attended the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Summit in New Delhi.
The summit brought together heads of state and government representatives, as well as representatives from tech companies and research institutions. The summit focused on where AI can deliver value and how it can be used as a development tool. Previous AI Summits were held in the United Kingdom (2023), South Korea (2024) and France (2025).
In a speech, the Hereditary Prince spoke about how the development and application of AI must be linked to the respect for fundamental values. The responsible use of AI will require working together with governments, the tech industries and research institutions.

During the visit, the Hereditary Prince also met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for bilateral talks. The desire for a double taxation agreement (DTA) was discussed, where the Prince emphasised Liechtenstein’s interest in the growing Indian market.
He was accompanied by the Head of the Digital Innovation Unit and two representatives from the Office of Foreign Affairs.
