Grand Duke Guillaume V of Luxembourg has visited the Grand Ducal Police Corps to present them with their new flag.

The Grand Duke received a briefing on the workings of the national 113 emergency call centre and the operational command post (OCP). These facilities have recently been opened to contribute to a rapid response to emergency calls.

Afterwards, he went to the Police Academy, which was renamed “Grand Duke Guillaume Police Academy” in the Grand Duke’s honour. He unveiled a plaque to commemorate his visit.

The Grand Duke met with representatives from the various departments of the police force.
