Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden have begun a three-day official visit to the United Kingdom.
The visit is taking place at the government’s request, and the couple is joined by ministers Pål Jonson and Andreas Carlsson. The couple visited Ukrainian soldiers who are being trained by officers from the Swedish Home Guard in England as part of Operation Interflex.

On the way to London, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel stopped at a pub in Woodditton for lunch. They spoke with the pub owners about the English public house culture. Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel also tried their hand at pouring their own pints.
In London, the couple and the Minister of Defense headed to the Imperial College’s Innovation hub.
Afterwards, they met the Minister of Infrastructure at the ambassador’s residence. In the evening, they attended a reception at the residence before being hosted at the National History Museum for a dinner.
During the dinner, Crown Princess Victoria gave a speech in which she said, “Our governments cooperate closely. There is also tremendous power when the business community acts together. Both the UK and Sweden are world leaders in innovation, and our global competitiveness is closely linked to our strive towards green transition.”
