Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway have presented the Nordic Council environmental award.
The award went to Renewcell from Sweden for its pioneering work in recycling and creating new clothes and items from textile waste. They received the award from the hands of the Crown Prince and Crown Princess at the award ceremony at the Norwegian Opera and Ballet.
During the ceremony, four other awards were also presented – for music, film, literature, and children’s literature.
Earlier in the day, the Nordic Council was hosted for lunch at the royal palace with King Harald and Queen Sonja.
