King Frederik presented His Majesty’s Honorary Saber and Honorary Dagger at Frederik VIII’s Palace in Amalienborg.

The King presented His Majesty’s Honorary Saber and Honorary Dagger to First Lieutenants Magnus Ravn Skou and Josefine Eg Bolko on 16 January.

The items are awarded based on special criteria for cadets at the Naval Officers’ School and the Air Force Officers’ School.

King Frederik presented His Majesty’s Sabre of Honour to First Lieutenant Magnus Ravn Skou and His Majesty’s Dagger of Honour to First Lieutenant Josefine Eg Bolko.

The sabre, presented to cadets in the Army and Navy, has the inscription “By the King” alongside the cadet’s name and year of graduation, while the dagger, presented to cadets in the Air Force, has the cadet’s name, the King’s monogram, and the Air Force emblem.
