The Swedish Royal Family has shared their support for the Princess of Wales after Catherine revealed her cancer diagnosis.
The Swedish royals have sent their sympathy to the Princess of Wales and British Royal Family but what was said during their private conversation will not be revealed.
The Royal Court Information Manager, Margareta Thorgen, told Expressen: “The Royal Family has expressed its sympathy to the British Royal Family.”
She added that the Swedish royals found Catherine’s diagnosis “very sad” and that the Royal Court would not reveal any details regarding the conversation between Their Royal Highnesses.
The Prince and Princess of Wales undertook an official visit to Sweden in 2018. Just last November, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel travelled on an official visit to the United Kingdom and met the Prince and Princess at Windsor Castle. They also attended the Royal Variety Performance at the Royal Albert Hall together during their short trip to the United Kingdom.
After the 2023 trip, Victoria told Swedish magazine Aftonbladet that she and her husband enjoyed their time with William and Catherine.
She said: “It’s always fun. We share a lot and it feels very natural and easy to meet. They are nice people who do a lot for their country. We exchange thoughts and ideas and share many interests.”
