King Frederik and Queen Mary shared some of their personal family photos of Princess Isabella before her 18th birthday.

The King and Queen shared many images on the Danish Royal House’s Instagram account on Saturday, 19 April.

The Royal House wrote on the social media platform: “Small glimpses from childhood to 18 years. In honour of Her Royal Highness Princess Isabella’s 18th birthday on Monday, Their Majesties The King and Queen are sharing a selection of memories from the family’s digital photo album.”

Princess Isabella is seen in snaps with her family in Denmark and in Australia. Snaps from Christmases in Tasmania with Queen Mary’s family are included, as are pictures with Isabella’s late grandfather, Prince Henrik.

Isabella is second in line to the Danish throne after her older brother, Crown Prince Christian. She has two younger siblings, twins Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine.

Princess Isabella will turn 18 on 21 April.
