Sarah, Duchess of York has spoken about how she is “full of admiration” for the Princess of Wales following her cancer diagnosis.
Sarah took to social media to praise the Princess of Wales and show her support after Catherine revealed she was undergoing preventative chemotherapy for cancer discovered following her abdominal surgery in January.
“All my thoughts and prayers are with the Princess of Wales as she starts her treatment. I know she will be surrounded by the love of her family and everyone is praying for the best outcome,” she said.
The Duchess then added: “As someone who has faced their own battles with cancer in recent months, I am full of admiration for the way she has spoken publicly about her diagnosis and know it will do a tremendous amount of good to raise awareness. I hope she will now be given the time, space and privacy to heal.”
Sarah, Duchess of York was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. After beating that cancer, she was diagnosed with malignant melanoma earlier this year. She received good news earlier this month when she found out her skin cancer had not spread.
The Princess of Wales announced she’d been diagnosed with cancer in a video message on 22 March and that she’s undergoing preventative chemotherapy.
