Queen Camilla has revealed what King Charles is like as a patient.

The Queen spoke to people while on a trip to Belfast saying that men are not known for “being the best patients.”

She then joked about the King, “I try to keep him in order.”

The King, who is undergoing treatment for an unspecified cancer, is said to be “doing very well” according to the Queen.

Queen Camilla received get-well cards from the public and a shop assistant to take back to the monarch.

The Queen visited Coffey’s Butchers and was presented with vegetable rolls and beer sausages before saying, “I shall take these back for my husband, he will make the most of them.”

King Charles revealed he had been diagnosed with cancer in February. The cancer was discovered while the King underwent a procedure for an enlarged prostate.

He has stepped back from public royal duties while he undergoes treatment.
