Queen Camilla is mourning the death of her beloved rescue dog, Beth.

The Royal Family took to social media to pay tribute to the Jack Russell Terrier to share images of the King and Queen with Beth.

Beth died over the weekend after being put down due to an incurable tumour.

On X, the Royal Family said: “A sad farewell to Beth, The Queen’s much-loved companion from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home who brought such joy, whether on walkies, helping on official duties, or curled up by the fire.”

Queen Camilla adopted Beth from the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home – one of the oldest animal shelters in the UK – when the pup was just three months old in 2011.
