Princess Beatrice and her family will now attend Christmas at Sandringham with the Royal Family after being advised against travelling to Italy by her doctors.

Buckingham Palace announced that the Princess had to change her holiday plans due to medical advice not to travel “long distances.”

This was to be the first year since her marriage that she was to spend in Italy with her husband’s family, but medical advice on her pregnancy forced her to axe those plans.

Princess Beatrice, her husband Edo, and their daughter, Sienna, will now spend Christmas at Sandringham with the Royal Family. It’s unknown if Edo’s son from a previous relationship, Wolfie, will be with them.

Beatrice will be at Sandringham without her sister and her family. Princess Eugenie is to spend Christmas with her in-laws.

In October, Princess Beatrice announced she was expecting her second child, due in early spring. She is thought to now be in her third trimester.
