The Princess Royal is set to visit Dubai in what will be her second royal tour this year.
Princess Anne will begin her visit to the United Arab Emirates today as President of The Mission to Seafarers (MtS).
She will visit DP World’s Jebel Ali Port, the Middle East’s busiest port, and learn more about electrified and automated high bay storage stacker cranes at the port. Princess Anne will meet operations staff, frontline workers and MtS’s welfare team.
Afterwards, Her Royal Highness will attend a Women in Shipping and Trading Conference panel discussion before closing out her busy day with a dinner with Mts representatives.
The Princess is one of a few full-time working royals currently able to undertake their royal duties as King Charles is undergoing treatment for cancer and the Princess of Wales is recovering from abdominal surgery.
The Princess Royal visited Sri Lanka in January alongside her husband, Sir Timothy Laurence.
She is considered one of the hardest-working royals and carries out the most royal engagements almost every year.
