Prince William has revealed that his wife, the Princess of Wales still “has a long way to go” in her cancer recovery.

The Prince of Wales made the remarks about Catherine’s health while on a working visit to Wales and just a day after the Princess released a video message to confirm she had finished her chemotherapy treatment.

Talking to the press in Wales, William said about the Princess’s announcement: “It’s good news, but there’s still a long way to go.”

The Princess of Wales began preventative chemotherapy in February and recently concluded the treatment. She plans to undertake a handful of royal duties over the next few months – including attending the Remembrance Sunday event at the Cenotaph and her annual Christmas Carol Service.

Kensington Palace and the Princess stressed that she would not be back to full-time royal duties just yet and that she is “doing what I can to stay cancer-free.”

Kensington Palace has confirmed that she is working from home on projects, including her work on the early years.
