The Prince of Wales and Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan joined forces to visit the Royal Air Force (RAF) Benson.
The heirs to the thrones of Jordan and the United Kingdom travelled to Oxfordshire to show their mutual respect for the military at the helicopter operating base.
Both are trained helicopter pilots and trained at Sandhurst. Prince William trained at RAF Shawbury and as a search and rescue pilot at RAF Valley. Crown Prince Hussein underwent training with the Jordanian Air Force.

Their Royal Highnesses received an overview of the work at the base and met trainee aircrew and staff from No. 28 (AC) Sqn and No. 22 Sqn. They also heard about their deployment experiences and the roles they play at RAF Benson.
RAF Benson provides support for UK military operations worldwide. The base is home to “No. 22 Squadron which provides operational testing, evaluation, tactics and training for all aviation in Joint Aviation Command and No. 28 (Army Cooperation) Squadron, which is the Chinook operational conversion unit, training aircrew before they fly on the front line,” according to Kensington Palace.
The Crown Prince of Jordan and his wife, Princess Rajwa, also met the Princess of Wales at Windsor Castle.
