The Prince of Wales visited the West Midlands, where he learned more about several initiatives supporting people’s mental health.

He began the day at St Michael’s Church of England High School in Sandwell. Student Freddie Hadley had written to the Prince of Wales last October and managed to surprise him today.

Prince William then travelled to Woodgate Valley Urban Farm, which helps children and youngsters struggling to access education. He met with the staff and volunteers and learned more about their therapeutic programs, such as animal upkeep.

Prince William opened a new employment skills training and community outreach centre for Betel UK at his final stop in Aston. This charity supports people affected by homelessness and addiction.
