The Prince of Wales attended a memorial service at Hyde Park on the 20th anniversary of the 7 July terror attacks in London.
Prince William joined survivors and family members of victims at Hyde Park’s 7 July Memorial Gardens.
The Prince was seen embracing family members of the victims and bowing his head in solidarity at the memorial after laying flowers.

The afternoon service included music by the London Gospel Choir. The names of all the victims were read, which was followed by a moment of silence.
The Prince and Princess of Wales later released a message on social media: “Our thoughts remain with the families and friends of those who lost their lives, and with those who bear the scars of the attacks to this day.”

King Charles released a message of unity earlier in the day to mark the anniversary. The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh also attended a memorial service at St Paul’s Cathedral on behalf of the King.
On 7 July 2005, four British Islamic terrorists blew themselves up on London’s public transport during the morning rush hour. A total of 52 people died and over 700 were injured in the deadliest attack in London since World War II. The attack was the first suicide bombing in Europe.
