Prince Harry’s 2023 autobiography Spare was the year’s best-selling book in the UK.
The book, released in January 2023, sold 700,000 copies – 180,000 more than the book in second place.
According to the British magazine The Bookseller, second place went to Richard Osman’s The Last Devil to Die and third place to Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus.
Spare was also a best-selling book in the Netherlands and the United States.
The Duke of Sussex penned his autobiography after ending his work as a full-time working member of the British Royal Family and moving to the United States.
The Prince relocated to the Duchess of Sussex’s hometown of Los Angeles, California, in 2020.
The news of his successful book comes as Neo-Nazi podcasters who called for his death have been imprisoned.
Christopher Gibbons and Tyrone Patten-Walsh were convicted of all charges in a London court on 4 January, receiving eight and seven-year sentences, respectively.
Gibbons was convicted of inciting terrorism and dissemination of terrorist publications, while Patten-Walsh was just convicted of encouraging terror acts.
During their podcast, the pair had called for Harry to be “judicially killed for treason” and made cruel remarks towards the Duke and Duchess’s son, Prince Archie.
