King Charles and Queen Camilla welcomed King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden to Windsor Castle to plant a tree.
The tree, a Swedish oak tree(Quercus robur), was a gift from the King of Sweden in celebration of King Charles and Queen Camilla’s coronation in Westminster Abbey. It came from the royal nursery at Solliden Palace.

King Carl XVI Gustaf used a spade first used by his great-grandfather, King Gustaf V, in 1908 when he planted an oak tree at Windsor with King Edward VII.
The tree was planted in the Home Park of Windsor Castle.
