To mark the visit of the Duke of Edinburgh to St Helena, the day has been declared a public holiday.
A public notice was issued to declare Wednesday, 24 January, a holiday. On that day, the Duke of Edinburgh will attend an event on the Grand Parade.
During the visit, he will also officially open St Helena International Airport, where he will unveil a plaque.
