Since rejoining the social media platform, the Duchess of Sussex has quickly reached one million Instagram followers.
Meghan launched her new account, simply titled Meghan, on New Year’s Day with a video shot at the beach.
In three days, the Duchess has amassed one million followers with only two posts.
She used her new social media profile to announce her new Netflix project With Love, Meghan which will debut on 15 January.
The programme will feature Meghan and her celebrity friends cooking, gardening and beekeeping.
In her announcement, she said: “I have been so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it. Wishing you all a fantastic new year! Thanks to our amazing crew and the team @netflix. Beyond grateful for the support – and fun! As ever, Meghan.”
The Duchess of Sussex had previously been on Instagram prior to marrying Prince Harry and joining the Royal Family. She shut her account down in 2017. By 2019, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had created an account “SussexRoyal” to share the work they did with the Royal Family. Upon leaving their roles as working royals and relocating to the States, the account has been inactive.
