Crown Prince Fumihito of Japan laid flowers at the Peace Memorial Park in Hiroshima.
He placed the flowers near a statue for the victims of the atomic bomb in Hiroshima in 1945. The bouquet consisted of white orchids.
He also visited the Exhibit Facility for Atomic-Bombed Remnants and the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum.
