King Charles won’t be attending the Royal Maundy Service, but he has recorded a message.
Queen Camilla will be the one to hand out the Maundy Money for the service today.
King Charles recorded his audio message in the 18th Century Room at Buckingham Palace and it will be played at Worcester Cathedral today.
Though The King was unable to attend today, a recorded message from His Majesty was played at the service, describing this year’s recipients as, “wonderful examples of such kindness; of going way beyond the call of duty and of giving so much of their lives to the service of… pic.twitter.com/10joYdexzz
