King Charles and Queen Camilla will visit Antigua and Barbuda, and the King will visit the Bahamas.
The autumn tour to Antigua and Barbuda and the Bahamas will take place from Tuesday, 27 October to Wednesday, 4 November 2026. This visit to Antigua and Barbuda will coincide with the King and Queen’s attendance at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) 2026. Before the CHOGM, King Charles will visit the Bahamas, of which the King is also head of state.
The King will then undertake a state visit to Guyana at the invitation of the President of Guyana and at the request of the government. The state visit will mark 60 years of bilateral relations between the United Kingdom and Guyana.
King Charles is the head of the Commonwealth, which is a voluntary association of 56 independent member countries. The CHOGM will take place from 1 November to 4 November in St John’s, Antigua and Barbuda. It will bring together the leaders from the 56
Commonwealth countries and various representatives. The theme of this year’s meeting is “Accelerating Partnerships and Investment
for a Prosperous Commonwealth.”
The King, as Prince of Wales, previously visited Antigua and Barbuda in November 2017. It is his first official visit to Antigua and Barbuda. He, as Prince of Wales, previously visited Guyana in February 2000 and the Bahamas in July 1973.
