Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway will attend the University of Oslo.

Princess Ingrid Alexandra will be taking courses at the Faculty of Social Sciences as an exchange student from the University of Sydney starting in the fall of 2026.

The Princess started attending the University of Sydney in Australia last year, but she was forced to halt her studies when her mother’s health deteriorated. The Crown Princess underwent a lung transplant in June and has been doing well.

Last May, the Princess was celebrating Norway’s National Day from Sydney, and she wrote, “Dear everyone, Today I’m a little extra homesick. It’s so nice that we have a day where everyone can dress up a little extra, take the train, and celebrate our Constitution. I myself will be celebrating May 17th here in Sydney, and I hope everyone has a great day, whether they are in Norway or abroad. Happy birthday, Norway!”

It is not yet clear if Princess Ingrid Alexandra will return to Australia in the future.
