King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands said goodbye to piloting the 737.

He recently took his last flight as a guest pilot for KLM on board a Boeing 737. KLM will be replacing the 737 with Airbus A32neo. King Willem-Alexander will continue flying for KLM and is being trained on the Airbus A32neo.

King Willem-Alexander has been flying the Boeing 737 since 2017.

The Royal House’s Instagram account posted a video of the King’s last flight.

King Willem-Alexander said, “Over the years, we have transported so many passengers from A to B on the 737. This mix of people and moments made flying special. For instance, we flew Feyenoord and AZ football supporters to Prague for the Europa League, children to Lapland to meet Santa Claus, but also holiday flights to Ibiza and Malaga. I hope to welcome the same colourful group back on the Airbus.”
